Take part and share your visions for the future of Europe with your photos! The Partnership Committee invites all international partner schools, schools in Velbert that are represented on the committee and the Youth Parliament to take part in the international youth photo competition in collaboration with Geschwister-Scholl-Gymnasium.
Who can take part?
Schools of the partnership committee, their partner schools and the Youth Parliament of Velbert; pupils of these schools from year 9 (aged 13 and over); as an individual or as a group of max. three people. The top 10 entry photos per school can be uploaded.

Which photos can you apply with?
Digital photos - you are free to choose your own design. For the quality of a photo, it is not particularly important how many colourful pixels it has and with which camera (smartphone, SLR or Polaroid, etc.) it was taken. What matters is the mood that is created and the message that is conveyed.
How can you take part?
Participation is ONLY possible via upload. Permitted format: JPEG (file extension .jpg) / maximum size 10 MB / photo size: at least 1024x768 pixels
The international youth photo competition will take place as part of the European Weeks 2024. A jury will decide which photos will be awarded prizes during the European Weeks. The photos will be exhibited at the Geschwister-Scholl-Gymnasium, Velbert's European school. The winners can look forward to great prizes (with the support of a sponsorship by Harald Pihl) and a special exhibition in Velbert. We look forward to receiving lots of creative photos!
